EDIT: I have just changed the Maximum Amount of Options You Can Have in a Poll to 50, which is the Maximum Number it will even let me change it to. Hope this helps!

Cool, thanks. I'm giving every entry three spots—for first, second and third place votes. It still won't fit right now, though. I guess I'll have to leave it as is. Any ideas on how I can organize this?

I would suggest splitting it between 3 threads, a "who will win?" thread with 2nd & 3rd threads. It would make the post easier to read too


All levels have been judged, so we will soon find out anyway. I myself am too afraid to speculate.

I'll see, if I have time. One reason I think people don't want to post is because they don't want to offend other people by not voting for their entries or look biased by voting for their own. I respect that—it's the same reason I didn't post my vote.

Ok, at the risk of offending some people (plz dun hate meh! D:>), i'll post who i think will get 1st, 2nd, and 3rd and why. (dun hate me! >_<;



1st Place: Sacktastic: Ptts - Tower of Whoop

why?
1: First and foremost: the level is complete. Everything that is in the original LBP2 version is in this level in some way or another. Case and point: the grappling hook.

2: The way Fuji1 makes his/her own grappling hook that retracts when the player grabs it is also very creative. It makes the level feel more like the original from the beta and makes it that much more fun to play. And what would Tower of Whoop be if it didn't have the grapple hook?

3: The amount of detail put in to this level is fantastic. It's a near photo copy of the story level from the beta. I feel almost like i'm playing the beta as I bounce and swing my way towards the finish line at the top of the wooden skyscraper.

4: The way the bounce pads push the player to the same height every time with little to no deviation is very astounding as well (and one of the reasons i decided not to do this level myself is because i didn't like the inaccuracy of most bounce pads).

5: As I said before, it's really fun to play. Though this is probably because the original is already so fun to begin with. (if the original is fun, wouldn't the replica be fun too?)


2nd Place: Sactastic:PttS - LBP2 Pipe Dream

why?
1: Once again, this level is also complete, with the exception of the grabinator (which is completely understandable).

2: In regards to detail, it's very well made. All the big things that make the level such as Clive, the sackbots, and the co-op area are all there and working fine... except maybe the sackbots x_x. However, the level seems a bit out of proportion with sackboy in a lot of areas (excluding the file cabinet, which is spot on. 17 large blocks high ;p). There are also a few smaller, mostly decorative bits that seem to be missing which prevents it from looking like a photo copy. Overall it's still very good for such a large level, especially since it was first published before any good quality videos were available on the internet.

3: I'm impressed with how the logic in the 2x player area of this level is recreated. I know from experience just how difficult it can be to mimic LBP2 logic in LBP1, and Strangepom does a good job at that.

4: It's fun :3

By the way, am I the only one who thinks it might be a bit unfair to judge these levels based on how much fun they are? I know this is an important quality for a level, but in this case, where several people decided to replicate levels in LBP2, wouldn't how much fun their versions are be up to how Media Molecule made the original?
A replica of a fun level would also be fun, wouldn't it?
Did that make sense?

i'll look it up later tonight if i'm feeling better. but right now i feel so much worse than crap; i feel so hot right now i just want to sit in a tub of ice for a few hours. i might be feeling the effects of a flu vaccination i had a few days ago...
